GoTyme is a joint venture between the Gokongwei Group, one of the biggest conglomerates in the Philippines, and the Singapore-headquartered digital banking group Tyme. This venture combines the trusted Gokongwei brand, customer base, and distribution ecosystem with Tyme’s globally proven digital banking technology and hands-on experience building South Africa’s leading digital bank, TymeBank, which has scaled to 6m customers in four years since launch.

At GoTyme, we have embarked on a journey to democratize financial services in the Philippines through the launch of a game-changing digital bank. We are seeking individuals who share our belief that the game is worth changing, to join our growing team of GoTymers as we build, launch, and scale a bank that empowers all Filipinos to navigate a path to financial freedom.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in formulating the overall strategy and design of products, features and engagement mechanics for shopping use cases (including at the intersection of purchase transactions and credit)

  • Together with other stakeholders and businesses, research and monitor product and customer trends to inform the ideation and prioritization of new products and features for the portfolio

  • Together with Strategy and other stakeholders, develop the business rationale (e.g., value proposition, opportunity sizing) for the new product initiatives, to inform product prioritisation

  • Manage the end-to-end life cycle of products and its distribution channels, such as ideation, design and management of its features, together with the timely implementation of strategic and tactical initiatives to drive value creation

  • Partner together with the rest of the business, the technology teams and technology / product partners to deliver products and features with a distinctive customer experience

  • Together with the Sales & Marketing team, formulate the products’ go-to-market strategies across segments and channels, and execute efficiently and clinically on it

  • Coordinate the “run” of the products and relevant channels in areas such as the operations, customer servicing and marketing

  • Assist in developing the strategic external partnerships needed with technology platforms or distribution channels to enable innovative and differentiated products & features

  • Liaise with TymeX on your product category, with the design, development, data analytics and innovation teams in TymeX

  • Manage the P&L of your product portfolio

About you:

  • At least 2-5 years of working experience in strategy, business development, product development or management consulting; experience in digital services, marketplaces, superapps or e-commerce is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail, with an entrepreneurial and highly practical mindset, and a street-smart “feel” for the pulse of the banking industry and target consumer

  • Curious self-starter with a willingness to learn about new topics from first principles

  • Strong ability to communicate clearly in presentations and discussions

  • Strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong work ethic, results-oriented and willing to “roll-up your sleeve”

  • Demonstrated passion for financial technology, digital banking and the mission of the company
