TymeX is the tech and operations arm of TymeGroup. Mostly based in Asia, we design and develop software for our business units. We have bank licenses in South Africa, The Philippines, Vietnam and are expanding fast in APAC.

The Team

This role will be part of the Design Team. Our 15-member team consists of UX designers, UI designers, motion designers, researchers, writers, and strategists. We collaborate through catch-ups, critiques, and design operations. Recently, we have won six prestigious design awards. video here>

The Role We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Manager to lead a team of 10 UX designers in the UX strategy HUB. While UI skills can be an advantage, they are not required for the role. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional leadership, a strategic mindset, prior experience leading design teams, and the ability to perform hands-on tasks if necessary. He/she should be able to gather requirements from business stakeholders and understand the commercial strategy to translate functional requirements into exceptional user journeys. Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in digital User Experience and Interface design, with a focus on mobile (Android, iOS).

• Proven background of working in managerial roles and leading a medium-sized team for large-scale projects to support enterprise-level businesses, either in-house or agency/consulting firm background.

• A genuine passion for Product design and attention to even the smallest details is crucial.

• Provide a portfolio of beautiful, detail-oriented designs (not conceptual) showcasing the delivery of successful products to the market.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design.

• Knowledge of best-practice UX design techniques (Android, iOS), such as user journeys, flow charts, wireframing, etc.

• You should have a strong opinion and the ability to sell your vision, but you should also be ready to adapt and change when alternatives are more compelling.

• A collaborative mindset to create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements.

• ‘Just do it’ attitude – finding a way to get things done.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
