About the Team
The Infrastructure & Operations Team under the GoTyme IT organization owns installing, maintaining, operating and monitoring the overall Technology Infrastructure of GoTyme. This covers end-to-end infrastructure including (but not limited to) end points, on-premise servers, network and cloud-based infrastructure.
This particular role will be part of this team. Specific roles & responsibilities are specified in the following sections.
Must-haves:
2+ years experience working in similar role and/or educational background in an engineering and/or IT.
Background in Telecommunications, Financial Services, IT and Network Services, Cloud Services, and related industries preferred but not required.
Bachelor’s degree or higher and / or equivalent qualification in either Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant IT field. Candidates with electronic certifications and/or network certifications are preferred.
Experience working with networking, machinery, and/or software.
Willing to travel and conduct field work.
Amenable to flexible work hours. Has satisfactory work-from-home setup.
Core Competencies:
Hands-on experience in both standard networks, contact center and telco platforms. Experience with cloud-based solutions and infrastructure is a bonus but not required
Good knowledge on network and cloud security concepts and its interaction / relationship with software platforms
Familiarity with Microsoft (Windows OS) systems, iOS, MacOS and Android systems.
Good analytical skills & detail-oriented. Knows how to perform root-cause analysis. Shows good structure in thought processes to identify the issue and provide resolution steps accordingly.
Good communication skills. Knows how to coordinate with various parties, specifically explain issues, symptoms, and recommend resolutions.
Shows good moral character and initiative – able to follow standard operating procedures and fulfil scorecard requirements to ensure SLAs are consistently met.
Understands team objectives and take accountability for one’s scope of work and assist others, when needed.
What will be expected of you:
Network Infrastructure
Monitors all network for GoTyme including Kiosk network (in tandem with Kiosk Operations)
Manages perimeter firewalls in offices / locations
Responsible for solving network connectivity issues, adding/modifying NAT entries and firewall rules to enable connectivity
Provide network configuration support and document client requirements
Recommends possible optimizations for network management and operations
Telco / Contact Center Infrastructure
Manages and monitors Contact Center / Telephony systems of GoTyme
Recommends possible optimizations for network management and operations
Work Schedule / Hiring Timeline:
Schedule: Monday - Friday (9AM - 6PM)
Location: work-from-home and/or office-based work, some occasional fieldwork
